St Philip provides many educational opportunities!

Sunday School
WHAT: Children from preschool age to grade 12 are invited to participate in these fun and relevant classes on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. They will learn the Bible from beginning to end and discover the relevance of the life of Jesus for them, their families, and their home. Our goal is to link Christian learning with all of life as we nurture young people to become committed, active disciples of Jesus.

Catechetical Instruction
WHAT: This is the way the congregation fulfills its Baptismal promise of partnering with families to help them raise children to be active, committed disciples of Jesus Christ. We bless children and families at key stages of their lives and give them the tools needed to nurture a strong relationship with God in Jesus. Equipping parents to teach their children we create opportunity for children to grow in Christ. Included with the winter program on Wednesday evenings is a series of retreats and summer camp.
Vacation Bible School
WHAT: This is a week long summer experience for children preschool to grade 6 and is open to the community. Through songs, crafts, drama, outdoor play and lessons , the love of Christ is shared with our young people. More information is available each spring.
WELCA Bible Study
WHAT: This is a small group of women who use the Lutheran Women Today as a study guide to the Bible.

WHO: Women all ages
WHEN: The fourth Monday of every month, Sept. -May at 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: They meet in the narthex or member's homes.
Monday Morning Bible Study
WHAT: This group of adults use the Augsburg Series of Adult Home Bible Studies as their guide to the Bible.
